Matt has specialized in resort sales along the entire Grand Strand for 30 years. He is an expert in resort and residential real estate. Through his role as an integral part of The Scalise Group, he has gained extensive knowledge in other areas related to real estate including construction, development, and vacation rentals.
Matt graduated from Myrtle Beach High School and The Citadel. He worked for Bank of America for several years where he gained valuable knowledge and experience as a Consumer Loan Officer as well as a Commercial Credit Analyst. This experience helps him provide a higher level of service to his clients.
Matt has been involved in numerous charities and served on various boards in the Myrtle Beach community including HOA boards, architectural review boards, a bank advisory board, the American Red Cross, Mercy Hospice Board Chair, Bethany Christian Services, and his children’s schools and church.
